Ashley S. at Pharmacy

I went to the pharmacy at the hospital. I really enjoyed being here I could definitely see myself doing that. My mentor showed me numerous drugs and medicines for all sorts of medical issues. It was interesting to learn about all these medications. I also watched her fill multiple prescriptions, count pills, and label bottles. She also ran into conflict when noticing certain drugs being mixed had reactions and had to find substitutions, it was appealing to watch. And remarkable the knowledge she had in chemistry. I really enjoyed observing at the pharmacy and have other date. This field does require a lot of school and we did discuss the struggle for pharmacy jobs.
